Yacht braids
Donaghys extensive yacht braid range covers the family cruiser through to the serious racer. Donaghys range of high performance braids for racing feature UHMwPE cores, one of the world’s strongest fibres with the ultimate strength to weight ratio for high performance applications. Core and cover combinations are carefully selected to work in unison producing the elite sailing solution for all racing and super yachts. Custom colour and bulk rigger options available on request.
Donaghys' double braids feature a unique alignment system to ensure long life on winches and efficient cleating for all cruising and racing yachts. These braids include Yachtmaster XS and Brights, with plaited polyester cores and jackets. We also offer a range of dinghy lines to meet the performance needs of the competitive sailor and in contrast, Dinghy Light provides an economical option for use on small keelboats and sailing dinghies.
GP Superbraid
Donaghys' GP Superbraid features a high performance solution dyed UHMwPE core. This core can be exposed and will not fade for the life of the product.

Superbraid
Donaghys Superbraid is a high performance yacht braid developed through exhaustive testing on super yachts, Jules Verne, The Race, Whitbread, Volvo Ocean Race, America’s Cup, IOR, IMS, IMR and Olympic yachts. This development programme has seen subtle but significant changes to Superbraid as fibre technology and manufacturing techniques improve. Superbraid’s versatility and advantages over traditional wire rope have seen an increase in its use across a broad range of applications.

Superbraid Performance Tec
Superbraid Performance Tec is a high performance yacht braid, specially engineered using state-of-the-art Mageba Thermofixation treatment. Superbraid Performance Tech has all the features of Donaghys Superbraid and the added benefit of a High Tenacity Technora/Polyester blended cover for enhanced protection from heat and abrasion resistance over traditional HT Polyester covers.

Yachtmaster Brights
Donaghys Yachtmaster Brights is a Polyester double braid featuring solid colours with colour fast dye, to assist identification and aesthetic appearance. Identical in construction to Yachtmaster XS, this rope also features a balanced and harmonised core of HT Polyester, for longer life and efficient cleating for all cruising and racing yachts.

Super Swift12
Super Swift12 is a dinghy line with good strength and ultra low stretch to ensure performance on the water for any sailor.

Dinghy Light
As the name suggests, Dinghy Light is a lightweight dinghy line designed for use on small craft that do not require the sophistication or expense of exotic fibre sheets or control lines. Superlite
Superlite dinghy line is a lightweight rope designed for dinghy control lines. This braid has little to no stretch compared to a 100% Polyester line.

Anti Torsion Braid

Challenge Braid
Donaghys' Challenge Braid is a high performance yacht braid with extremely high strength and ultra low creep. It features a Vectran fibre core with a hard wearing Polyester cover, which can be removed for special applications.

- Similar load and extension performance to Aramid fibres with greater flex fatigue and UV resistance
